Horn
The horn is a natural material which has been used for centuries in the production of prestigious accessories. Mariella Martinato decided to brush up these ancient techniques and create her own collections. With the precious cooperation of a skilled craftsman, a very unique and exclusive range of high end products have been created in order to convey the flavor of the history, the art of craft and of the traditions from the past.
Wood
Mariella Martinato is constantly looking for noble and particular raw materials. We have selected various unique and precious woods to create our lines. We use American walnut, black or macassar ebony, wenge, zebra wood, Italian olive, Italian briar and fossil wood. The collection includes various accessories such as hair brushes, beard brushes, clothes brushes, body brushes and shoe brushes. With the same materials are also manufacture special lines of accessories for personal care such as shaving brushes and razors.
Among our collections, particularly interesting are the ones in Japanese bamboo and malacca wood.
Every single product is entirely cut, sanded, polished and finished by hand. Subsequently it is treated with particular oils and natural waxes. The final polishing phase is always carried out with natural cloths.
Galalith
Galalith is made with care and experience, with the strong passion that has always defined and distinguished our supplier for raw material. To make Galalith they use Casein, the protein of milk, which gives it something special. It is strong and resistant but soft and velvety to the touch at the same time. It is the ancient plastic. It has now become a very prestigious material, of yesteryear!
Galalith represents the perfect alternative to materials proceeding from protected animals, such as, ivory and tortoise, giving the possibility to obtain finished products being the perfect alternative of natural materials, but producing no impact on the environment.
Galalith is a biodegradable material and our products are in compliance with Reach regulation. Respect for the environment and smart use of the natural available resources.
